Thanks to his fans Matt won the EWwy for best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. He thanked his fans with a short statement on the EW website:

I have been extremely fortunate to have incredibly special fans support my work throughout my twelve year career. This recognition is a way for me to say… thank you so much to everyone who has taken time out of their lives to be passionate about the projects I have been a part of. CBS is airing a Recap Special for the The Good Wifen tonight.

The Good Wife: A New Beginning, a half-hour special that will air Sunday, Sept. 4, at 9:30 PM, following a Mike & Molly repeat and leading into a Good Wife rerun. The special will recap key characters and storylines from the first two seasons of the serialized legal drama and will feature a preview of the upcoming Season 3 as well as interviews with the series’ stars Julianna Margulies, Christine Baranski, Josh Charles, Archie Panjabi, Matt Czuchry, Alan Cumming and Chris Noth as well as co-creators and executive producers Robert King and Michelle King. The Good Wife is nominated for nine Primetime Emmys, including best drama series.

Matt was also nominated for the EWwy Awards as Best Supporting Actor in a Drama role. The EWwy Awards honor those Actors that were snobbed at the Emmys.

The Good Wife was honored at the 70th Annual Peabody Award. Matt attended along with the his co-stars Julianna Margulies, Christine Baranksi, Mary-Beth Peil and the show creators Michelle and Robert King.

Matt attended the CBS Upfronts yesterday and I added 13 pictures of him to the Gallery. I am trying to get more pictures soon though, so make sure to check the gallery later again for  updates.

PS. As of yesterday it is also confirmed that Matt is going to attend the Peabody Awards on May 23rd where his show ‘The Good Wife’ is going to get a Award.

Good News first! Earlier today The Good Wife was officially renewed for a 3rd Season. It also will move from his previous day Tuesday to Sunday Night 9pm EST.
